OMICRON GRANITE

Seeking a seamless contemporary design, this master bathroom was transformed into a sophisticated sanctuary using Neolith, which provides a low-maintenance marble aesthetic. Neolith is made from all natural materials and has a near-zero porosity, making it hygienic, resistant to bacteria growth, and impervious to cleaning chemicals. This master uses Neoliths’ Pulpis for the vanity top and the shower wall. The tobacco-brown tone of Pulpis contrasts perfectly with the tub’s Arctic White in a silk finish.

CINNABAR DESIGN

The inspiration for this bathroom was the honed 12- x 24-inch Chenille white limestone wall & floor tile. With the shower and tub wall being the focal point of the bathroom, the shower floor is accented with a limestone and travertine geometric mosaic. The vanity mirrors are framed with a 5-inch wide millwork design, and the ceiling tray features a hexagonal wood detail.

LONDON BAY HOMES

The curtained canopy bed sets the tone for a suite that opens to the great outdoors. The rich tones of the rough-hewn wood floors and wood furnishings are contrasted with the cream finishes of the walls and the whites of the fabrics and trim. Teal is used to bring color to the neutral palette and tie the room to the adjacent outdoor water feature.

The focal point of the room is the headboard wall, with an octaganal design that is softened by being painted the same neutral Eider White as the wall. This design is repeated in the bedroom and sitting room trays. The 72-inch high upholstered bed, with an ogee detail, complements the wall feature. DREAMWORKS KITCHEN & BATH

This hand-made dining room chandelier was custom built for this beachfront condo. The dark upper top of the light is to simulate the bottom of a boat with the fish swimming below. Originally crafted with thin wire holding the fish, the owners had a special rod system designed to keep the fish from swinging in the Gulf breeze which softly blows through in the afternoon. The upper soffit was designed to fit the outline of the dinning room table which was hand-crafted in walnut.

GEARY DESIGN

This dining alcove was carved into a bay window overlooking the Gulf of Mexico. In this small apartment, kitchen storage was extended into the space and made to look like a wood paneled wall. The bench seat and backrest were fabricated to become part of the architecture. A custom boat-shaped table of perforated stainless steel with a custom shaped glass was created to fit the space. The soffit was extended to accommodate the light fixture that was selected to minimize obstruction of the view. The chairs were chosen for the transparency and sculptural qualities. Materials were selected that would emphasize warmth and contrast.

W DESIGN

The reclaimed white washed dining table sits on a natural colored oak floor. The simple clean-line armed dining chairs are covered in a dusty blue fabric finished with a cream linen tape and satin nickel spaced nailhead detail and dark stained wood legs. The walls are textured with a handmade grasscloth with a hand-stitched yarn in a blue grid pattern, providing a backdrop to the homeowners own art. The custom iron lantern completes the mixture of metals, woods, and textures layered within a calm organic and comfortable palette.

K2 DESIGN

Starting with an awkward condominium floor plan, this dining room was transformed with a mid-century modern solution. Inspiration for the separation feature from dining to corridor and powder room was inspired by the beachfront setting. A porthole was fashioned to align directly across the room from a mirror recessed into wall paneling that opens to reveal storage for stemware, china, linens, and other dining room essentials.

OMICRON GRANITE

Understanding the limitations and care concerns of natural stone, but desiring the upscale look of marble, companies like Neolith are offering a perfect alternative. Man-made of natural materials, Neolith’s Estatuario from the Classtone collection provides the upscale look of marble without the maintenance concerns. Estatuario offers a completely linear pattern. Unlike natural marble where working with multiple slabs makes it nearly impossible to match veining, using ‘end-matched’ pieces, the pattern can be continuous as seen on this waterfall island top.

PALM BROTHERS REMODELING

This sleek, ultra-modern dream kitchen features custom-built cabinetry with stainless steel edges and integrated handles on engineered veneered doors and drawers, creating a contemporary, minimalist look. Integrated LED lighting was used under cabinets, inside frosted glass cabinets, and as a highlight for the custom coffee station. OUTSIDE PRODUCTIONS INTERNATIONAL

With a love of sailing and water sports, the homeowners wanted to incorporate water in multiple forms throughout the landscape. The soft sound of water flowing down a runnel, a triple spillover spa, and a series of scuppers spilling into reflecting pools creates a multi-layered sound, reminiscent of the couples’ sailing adventures. Iridescent blue tile further highlights the heavy presence of water, while contrasting the vibrant colors of the tropical landscape. All nestled within a large, tropical hedge, a series of large specimen palms, and custom designed arbors and gates, the home is the perfect Florida oasis for the well-traveled couple.

OUTSIDE PRODUCTIONS INTERNATIONAL

Searching for a coastal contemporary retreat, these homeowners wanted to create an outdoor space that is streamlined while still feeling lush, tropical, and inviting. With a high level of transparency between the interior and exterior, illuminated water features and ‘floating’ planters blend the two spaces and provide varying interest both day and night. Lighting played a significant role, highlighting the geometric stepping stones and planters and drawing the eye to the submerged spa. Uplights hidden in the planters emphasize the palm fronds and create a beautiful texture that further enriches the tropical feel.
